We Believe AI Should Be for Everyone
AI for All was born from a simple idea: the people shaping the future of AI should look like the people it affects. That means everyone — including the 1.4 billion people living in Africa.
How It All Started
It started with a conversation. A group of tech professionals across West Africa noticed something troubling — while AI was transforming industries worldwide, most Africans were being left out of the conversation entirely.
Not because of lack of interest, but because of lack of access. The workshops were expensive. The content wasn't relevant to African contexts. And the language was designed for people who already knew the basics.
So we decided to change that. AI for All launched with a single webinar and 23 attendees. Today, we've grown into a community of hundreds, hosting events across multiple African countries, and we're just getting started.
Our Values
Inclusivity
AI knowledge shouldn't have borders or barriers. We design every event so that anyone — regardless of their background — can participate and grow.
Practical Learning
Theory is important, but we focus on what you can actually do with AI. Every session leaves you with skills and tools you can apply immediately.
Community First
We're not just running events — we're building a movement. Our community supports each other, shares resources, and grows together.
Responsible AI
With great power comes responsibility. We teach AI ethics, safety, and security alongside every technical skill — because how you use AI matters.
